Models Moss Be Healthy
Posted by wennax on August 15, 2008
On the 25th of February 2008, Emily Payne, a writer of The Sun newspaper, wrote that the English model, Kate Moss, being a “party-girl” is planning to swap her fatty, greasy hangover foods for healthier options. The article didn’t say a lot about Kate, though. The writer focused more on the Fit Squad’s simple party girl diet tips. She did, however, leave this question: “She likes to party… but can Kate be healthy too?”
A month after, an article about Kate’s new passion came out… Guess what?? Yup! The Mangosteen juice. The article suggested Kate fell in love with the juice because of it’s exotic taste and fragrant aroma. It doesn’t surprise me at all. A model is expected to look good, and to feel good. Mangosteen is known for it’s anti-aging and energy-giving properties (among others) so it all fits perfectly… model + mangosteen (beauty regimen) = better model. hehe Below is a picture of Kate, and her new anti-aging regime. I have to give credit to the blogger who posted this picture on his blog. Sadly, I lost the link. But I’ll find you, I promise!

For those who are wondering who Kate Moss is, here’s a little background..
Kate Moss is an English model who has appeared on over 300 magazine covers, She is known for her waifish figure, uncommon modeling height for fashion models, and many advertising campaigns. She is also notorious for her high-profile relationships and party lifestyle.
Moss was voted 8th in Celebrity Sleuths 25 Sexiest Women of 2004, 8th in Maxims 50 Sexiest Women of 1999 and 22nd in FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 1995. Men’s magazine Arena named her as their Sexiest Woman in their 150th issue. In March 2007, Moss won the Sexiest Woman NME Award. She made her first appearance in the British women’s Sunday Times Rich List in 2007, where she was estimated to be worth £45 million. She ranked as the 99th richest woman in Britain.
In July 2007, earning an estimated total of $9 million in the past 12 months, Forbes magazine named her second on the list of the World’s 15 top-earning supermodels.
Moss has had campaigns with major Italian, French, American, and British designers including Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Calvin Klein, Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Missoni, Longchamp, David Yurman, Dior, Yves Saint-Laurent, Burberry,Stella McCartney, Rimmel,[15] and Bvlgari, including a campaign for the successful Brazilian label ELLUS during summer 2000.
Moss currently lives with her daughter Lila in St John’s Wood, London. Tabloids and gossip magazines frequently report on her status.

Sorry the images are quite small.. ^_^ But the last image clearly gives a thumbs up to… Exercise, Quality Sleep, Vitamins ABCD(3)E, MANGOSTEEN and other natural nutrients. =) And XanGo is THE ORIGINAL, and THE FIRST mangosteen juice in the world! It’s the only product that uses the whole fruit in its formulation – and it’s patented!
So why settle for less when you can have the best?

XanGo’s Iconic Bottle Design Honored
Posted by wennax on August 7, 2008
Got this article from XanGo’s News Center..
LAS VEGAS, NV – May 5, 2008 – The Glass Packaging Institute today honored global nutritional leader XanGo, LLC with its 2008 Clear Choice Award for the category-creating iconic bottle design of XanGo Juice. Chief Marketing Officer John Digles accepted the award at the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Show in Las Vegas. XanGo was honored among some of the world’s most renowned beverage brands.
“In creating a new global category, XanGo introduced a bottle image that is now cast as one of the world’s most recognized nutrition brands,” said Digles. “We thank the Glass Packaging Institute for this honor. And special thanks to nearly a million XanGo distributors worldwide for establishing the XanGo® Juice bottle as a global symbol of wellness and prosperity.”
In accepting the award, XanGo also recognized Anchor Glass Container Corporation, the company’s global bottle manufacturing partner.
Each year since 1989, the Glass Packaging Institute has honored consumer product goods manufacturers that expand the frontiers of glass packaging design by using glass containers in innovative ways. The only awards program that recognizes the contribution glass packaging makes to the image and success of everyday products, the Clear Choice Awards are presented to products that triumph in glass.
Since the first sale of XanGo Juice in the fall of 2002, the original mangosteen dietary supplement has been packaged with a custom glass bottle design that reinforces its premium brand status and is consistent with its delivery as a natural, great tasting whole fruit supplement.
Congratulations, XanGo!

Summer 2008
Posted by wennax on June 30, 2008
Hello everyone!
Wow! My last entry was three months ago! But technically, since it’s the 1st of July now, so that would be four months ago.. (who knew a day difference would make it sound even worst ^_^). I lost my net connection again, and I just had to enjoy summer!! I had drafts lined up, though.. so you might be surprised to see 5 new old entries soon.. hehehe.
Ohhkaay.. Since I was out too long, I still have to see where I have to begin. And while I’m sorting things out, I’d like to share what had happened in the past three (or four) months in my life, and all over the Philippines.
Last April, I traveled to Cagayan de Oro City with my boyfriend, along with his family – parents, younger sister, younger brother, younger brother’s girlfriend, their cousin, and their uncle – who drove us all the way from Davao City to CDO City. It was a 7-hour drive, approximately, and we were elbow-to-elbow, shoulder-to-shoulder, cheek-to-cheek. Nah.. not cheek-to-cheek. ^_^ hehe We had to stick to a certain position for hours, and eventually try to get a chance to stretch out our muscles a tiny, little bit if the ride gets bumpy – and the ride never did get bumpy. But we swayed to the car’s motion.. as the car zig-zagged smoothly in the long stretch of curved roads. It was fun. The drive was long, the music was soft, and the ride was smooth.
His uncle’s family was very generous to let us stay at their house for a while.. even more generous to serve late night snacks.. and breakfast the following day.. and not-to-mention they prepared nice, clean, warm rooms for us. We went to Camiguin Island the day after – the highlight of the trip. We drove for about an hour to get to the dock, and rode a ferry to get to the Island. The sea was a little wild… we’re glad we made it safely to the island, located approximately 90 km above CDO. We were lucky Typhoon Frank (or Typhoon FengShen) was a month late. Although at that time, judging by the strong winds and high tide, he was probably undergoing an extensive training, as religiously as Pacquiao was doing, mustering up all the strength so he could capsize the MV Princess of the Stars off the coast of San Fernando, Romblon on June 22, 2008. =( It was a sad day for everyone.. Pacquiao won though.. and a lot celebrated.. So did anybody here win a bet?
I heard a lot of Filipinos were at Vegas to witness the event.. Hehe Oh-kay.. I’m drifting farrr away from my topic again.. Told ya, I have to sort things out… XD I still have my summer hangovers..
Here are a few photos from my trip…

Daniel Tuan Named General Manager of Taiwan and Hong Kong
Posted by wennax on March 26, 2008
Daniel has more than 20 years of experience in different facets of the network marketing industry, on both the corporate and distributor side. Believe it or not, at age 25, he started his own distributor business and built an organization of more than 50,000 distributors worldwide!
He also served as the first General Manager for a certain successful network marketing company, as well as working with a highly successful company in the industry as the President/CEO of Asia/Pacific, rounding out his broadly successful career.
As XanGo’s General Manager of Taiwan and Hong Kong, Daniel will relocate to Taiwan, and begin applying his strategic business and management skills to help propel Taiwan and Hong Kong forward as some of our most successful international markets.
Daniel received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Tamkang University in Taiwan and studied MBA courses at the same university.

Happy Easter Everyone!

This was sent by my ninang from Utah, USA through email.. She’s our direct upline in XanGo.. =)
THERE IS A GREEN HILL FAR AWAY
- (My favourite Easter Hymn)There is a green hill far away,
Beyond the city wall,
Where the dear Lord was crucified,
Who died to save us all.We may not know,we can not tell,
What pains he had to bear;
We believe it was for us
He hung and suffered there.He died that we might be forgiven;
He died to make us good,
That we might go to heaven,
Saved by His precious blood. There was no other good enough
To pay the price of sin,
He only could unlock the gate,
Of heaven and let us in.O dearly, dearly, He has loved,
We must love Him too,
Trust in His redeeming blood,
And try His works to do.~Cecil Frances Alexander 1818-1895~
